I am an Arkansas native, and I grew up in Russellville. My husband, Jacob Walker, and I met as children and were married in September 2022 at Thorncrown Chapel in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. We have one fur baby, our dog Chuy, and a large extended family that includes over five nephews. I'm the cool auntie! On the weekends, you can find us enjoying time with our families, traveling, and soaking up all Arkansas has to offer.
I hold an education in Rehabilitation Science from Arkansas Tech University and in Dental Assisting from Kaplan College in San Diego County, California. Upon returning to Arkansas, I began my dental career at a large DSO where I gained five years of experience in front office and management skills. When I met Dr. Matt and his wife Jenny, I knew that my extensive knowledge in the dental field, combined with Dr. Moudy's dynamic passion for patient care, would make us a great team. I will be the voice on the phone and your friend at the front desk, ready to serve and ensure you enjoy your experience with us.
I grew up in Wynne, AR, and attended Arkansas State University before transferring to the University of Tennessee, Memphis, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in June 2000. I began my career practicing in Memphis for one year before moving to Little Rock, where I spent the next 24 years with the same wonderful dental family. My husband, Brett, is a Little Rock native, and we’ve been married for over nine years. We share our lives with our two rescue pups, Gus and Woodrow, who we ADORE! They are our scruffy, wooly kiddos who bring so much love and laughter to our lives! In our free time, Brett & I enjoy traveling, spending time with our pups, exploring the great outdoors, and soaking up sunrises and sunsets. I also love doing creative projects, volunteering with local organizations, and spending time with friends.
Throughout my 24 years of dental hygiene practice, I’ve been fortunate to build lasting relationships and friendships with my patients. I truly enjoy connecting with people on a deeper level, caring for their oral health, and encouraging them to take pride in their at-home care. I am beyond grateful for this new chapter in my career at Moudy Dental, working alongside Dr. Moudy.
During my time in Memphis, I became close friends with Dr. Moudy’s wife, Jenny, who was in my hygiene class at UT. I had the pleasure of getting to know both of them back in our “younger days”, and it’s been awesome reconnecting with both of them in this new season of life- especially within the dental profession. Dr. Moudy’s strong passion for patient care and his commitment to providing the best outcomes for every patient is truly inspiring. His dedication has reignited my own passion for dental hygiene, and I am excited to begin this journey as part of the Moudy Dental team!
I've been a dental assistant in general dentistry for over 30 years, and after 3 decades with the same wonderful doctor, I'm excited to be starting a new chapter with Dr. Moudy and this awesome team. I graduated from Dental assisting school in 1995 and always loved helping patients feel comfortable, cared for, and confident in their smiles.
Outside of the office I've been married to my high school sweetheart, Eric, since 1998. We have one daughter, Haley, who is the light of our lives. On the weekends you'll find me hanging out with the family and our sweet pup, cheering on Eric at the drag races or enjoying some much-needed coffee time with friends. I also love scrapbooking- it's my creative outlet and favorite way to hold onto memories.
